Katy Times still publishing print edition after Hartman-Fenice agreement
CEDAR PARK – The Katy Times has continued publishing, thanks to a deal negotiated between Fenice Community Media and Hartman Newspapers, Inc. 
The announcement was made July 23 by Fenice Community Media Founder and Chairwoman Brandi Chionsini. 

TPA members are reminded PS Form 3526, Statement of Ownership, Management, and Circulation, must be filed by Sept. 30 with the post office where newspapers are mailed.
In addition, the statement must be published during the month of October.

The 2020 Texas Press Association Convention and Trade Show in Galveston Jan. 16-18 will be a mega event celebrating the organization’s 140th year.
Moody Gardens Hotel, Convention Center and Spa in Galveston is headquarters for the event.

Texas Press Association is among the state associations encouraging members to support the "Think F1rst" public awareness campaign about the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Originally developed by Media of Nebraska, the campaign launched nationwide Aug.1. 

It’s time for Texas Press Association members to begin reviewing work published over the past year and a half in preparation for the 2018-19 Texas Better Newspaper Contest.
