MARBLE FALLS – The Burnet Bulletin has moved to the office of The Highlander in downtown Marble Falls.

Since the office space has been consolidated Burnet area residents who need to do business in person may now come to the Marble Falls location.

According to Highlander and Burnet Bulletin General Manager James Jones, the Bulletin newspaper will continue to publish as always.

The Houston Chronicle is making a $10 million investment in a modern printing press, capable of churning out new editions of regional and national newspapers for the next half century. 

The new Goss Uniliner press, built over the past year in the room that used to store reams of paper, began printing most Chronicle print jobs in late January.

TPA members have until Friday, Feb. 13, to enter the 2025 Texas Better Newspaper Contest.

Contest managers should register and upload entries on the TPA page of the ACES contest website. Instructions, rules and other information are available on the TPA website.

Texas Press Association is seeking nominations for awards to be presented at the 2026 TPA Convention & Trade Show June 18-20 at the Hyatt Regency DFW Airport Hotel.
