Staff additions, promotions at Texas newspapers.

Llano News
LLANO – Megan Ables is the new editor of the Llano News.
The Tarleton State University graduate joined the newspaper staff in early March.

Kalin Bentley
The Red River Sun
CHILDRESS — Kalin Bentley has been named the Childress editor of The Red River Sun.
She succeeds Ginger Wilson, who is now public information officer for the Texas Department of Transportation’s Childress district. 
Bentley is a 2012 graduate of Sul Ross State University, where she competed in softball. She earned a bachelor of science in administrative systems and business technology while serving as class representative for student government and president of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee for Division 3 athletes across the American Southwest Conference.
Since graduating from Sul Ross, Bentley has been teaching and coaching. She has taken several athletes to state in track and cross country, where they earned playoff spots against competitive districts.  
Publisher Chris Blackburn announced the appointment, noting that Bentley is a Childress native and graduate of CHS.

Ashley Inge
The Glen Rose Reporter
GLEN ROSE – Ashley Inge, a recent gradate of Tarleton State University, has joined the Glen Rose Reporter staff as a feature writer and general assignment news reporter covering business and breaking news in Somervell County. The announcement was made by Managing Editor Sara Vanden Berge.
Inge works with senior reporter Mark Wilson and news and sports correspondent Jay Hinton.
