Neice Bell returns to Herald-Zeitung

NEW BRAUNFELS – Neice Bell has returned as publisher of the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung.
Bell will initially split time between New Braunfels and Kerrville, where she has been publisher of the Kerrville Daily Times for more than two years.
Southern Newspapers, Inc. President Dolph Tillotson announced the change.
Bell began her career at the Kerrville Daily Times in 1979, starting as a typesetter and later becoming advertising director. After a stint as publisher of four weeklies in the Boerne area beginning in the 1990s, she moved to New Braunfels in 2004 as marketing director for the Herald-Zeitung.
Her first publisher appointment came in 2006, when she went to the Seguin Gazette. She returned to the Herald-Zeitung in 2012 as publisher. Three years later, she became publisher of the Lufkin Daily News, serving there until her appointment in Kerrville two years ago.
Bell said she and her husband, Jeff, a U.S. Air Force veteran, plan to relocate to New Braunfels, where their two children and grandchild already live.
