Council on Foreign Relations webinars, workshops available

Local Journalists Initiative
The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) Local Journalists Initiative, www.cfr.org/localjournalists, is dedicated to helping print, broadcast, and digital native journalists working for regional publications and media outlets draw connections between the local issues they cover and national and international dynamics.
Programming includes an interactive webinar series with CFR fellows and other subject experts tailored to the needs of local journalists and an annual workshop, featuring expert briefings on global issues and a forum for journalists to share best practices on connecting the local to the global. Participants in the programs gain direct access to area specialists, suggestions for useful information and data sources and meet a professional network of peers from across the country.
For more information about attending one or both of the upcoming CFR programs, email your name, professional title, and media affiliation to localjournalists@cfr.org
