Jimmie Beth Goolsby
HUGHES SPRINGS – Jimmie Beth Goolsby, 95, of North Richland Hills, formerly of Hughes Springs, died Nov. 9.
She was a photojournalist for more than 40 years, working for the Hughes Springs New Era, The Steel Country Bee, Longview News, Atlanta Citizens Journal and the Gilmer Mirror. She was a member of the Texas Press Association.
A native of Troup and graduate of the Federal Institute of Business in Tyler, she worked in banking before starting her journalism career.
She was active in local community and church activities, earning many honors and awards for her service.
She is survived by a son and two daughters, seven grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Nov. 13 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs, with burial in the Hughes Springs Cemetery.

Robert Cadwallader
DALLAS – Former Fort Worth Star-Telegram reporter Robert Cadwallader, 59, of Cleburne, died Dec. 8 in a one-car accident in Johnson County.
Cadwallader worked as a reporter for the Star-Telegram from 2010 to 2017, reporting on government issues, education and crime throughout Tarrant County. He previously worked at the Waco Tribune-Herald.
He is survived by two brothers, several nieces and two great nephews
Memorial services were held Dec. 13 at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.
