Vendors display products, services in TPA Trade Show

DENTON – Vendors demonstrated and shared their products and services with TPA members at the 141st Convention and Trade Show in Denton.
Sponsored by eType Services, the trade show kicked off convention events with a reception Thursday evening. Trade show hours continued on Friday morning.

Also displayed in the Trade Show hall was the annual silent auction benefiting the Texas Newspaper Foundation. A large variety of donated items drew competitive bids and raised more than $7,000. The foundation sponsors the Texas Newspaper Hall of Fame and the Texas Center for Community Journalism at Tarleton State University, providing free mid-career training for Texas journalists.
As part of the closing event, drawings were held. Thad Swiderski of eType Services announced the winners: Jennifer Richardson, the Liberty Vindicator, and J.L. Mankin, Big Lake Wildcat. They received Apple Watches.
