Sales training by Ryan Dohrn will be featured at a one-day revenue conference June 21 sponsored by the Texas Newspaper Foundation.
The conference coordinated by the Texas Center for Community Journalism will be held at the Hangar Hotel in Fredericksburg on Friday, June 21. In conjunction, the annual Robert Burns Memorial Golf Classic benefiting the TNF will be held Thursday, June 20, at the Lady Bird Johnson Golf Course in Fredericksburg.
Founder of Brain Swell Media, a sales training and coaching firm, Dohrn created the Selling Backwards and 360 Ad Sales Training system and is a recognized media revenue consultant in the United States and abroad. His promotional and entertainment productions have won an Emmy Award, and he has been featured on Forbes.com, CNN radio and in USA Today. He is also author of several books on marketing and sales.
Dohrn has worked in the radio, TV and publishing industries since 1994. His resume includes time in promotions and sales at The New York Times Company, Disney, Cumulus, Citadel Communications, Vance Publishing, Morris Publishing and PennWell. He has trained and coached more than 10,000 advertising sales representatives to date and speaks more than 60 times per year.
