Open Meetings investigation scheduled to go before grand jury in January - Your Houston News: The Woodlands Villager: News

A special prosecutor investigating the possible violation of the Texas Open Meetings Act by certain members of Montgomery County Commissioners Court as well as other community members said he hopes to have all his documents to a seated grand jury in January.

The investigation involves dozens of emails sent between Texas Patriots PAC treasurer Bill O’Sullivan and political consultant Marc Davenport in early August with certain county commissioners and the county judge being kept apprised of ongoing negotiations to place the November 2015 road bond referendum on the ballot.
