Longtime high school sports stringer looking for sports beat or other sports correspondent coverage work at a newspaper (daily or otherwise), website or magazine in North Texas or near/around/within the I-20 and I-35 corridor area. I have worked as a stringer for the past 14 years, having stories published by more than a dozen newspapers in Texas, including The Dallas Morning News, Sherman Herald Democrat, Denton Record Chronicle and Greenville Herald Banner. My efforts have included Class 4A-1A sports, as well as brief coverage of Texas Collegiate League baseball, junior-college softball and Oklahoma high school basketball. Additionally, I worked with HTML posting at a website where I was earlier this decade. I have also done 35mm photography for the past nine years -- cropping my own photos before e-mailing -- and am considering making the jump to digital when the opportunity arises and money justifies it.
