2023 Texas Better Newspaper Contest - important info, dates

• The contest opens for entries Jan. 22.

• The state contest and most of the regional contests are conducted on the ACES platform. Many newspapers enter more than one contest. When entering the 2023 Texas BNC, please make sure you are using the link to the state contest, www.newspapercontest.com/Texas.

• The association code is TXPRESS and is included in the instructions right below the login buttons on the contest landing page, www.newspapercontest.com/Texas. 

• Newspapers are listed in the drop-down menu in alphabetical order by city.

• All registrations are new this year. All registrants must set a new password, wait for a confirmation email and follow instructions in that email to complete registration.

• Rules and eligibility information for the 2023 contest are available NOW on the TPA website, click here. Rules for each competition category are also included on the ACES platform where entries are uploaded.

• Deadline for entries is Feb. 20.
