Reporters contribute to our newspaper's print products, social media and overall web presence and participate in conversations to increase our reach.
Qualifications include: Accuracy in reporting. Fluency in AP style. Strong interpersonal skills. Understanding open records law and ability to file, manage and oversee requests pertinent to beat work. Strong computer skills. Ability to collaborate on new projects and work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to contribute to conversations regarding projects, daily budget and pitching stories. Bilingual a plus.

The Paris News in Paris, Texas is looking for a sportswriter who can also layout the sports page using inDesign. We Publish every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday covering four schools in Lamar County and track sports in parts of neighboring Red River, Delta and Fannin counties.
