MUENSTER — David and Pam Fette sold the Muenster Enterprise to Muenster Printing and Publishing LLC, owned by Scott and Deborah Wood.

The Fette family had owned the newspaper for 67 years since founding it in 1936. Elfreda Fette, wife of founder R.N. Fette, will continue as historian and lifestyle writer for the newspaper.

Scott Wood said he did not anticipate any changes in staff or operation.

Several of the employees have been on staff for more than a decade — writer and designer Janet Felderhoff, 15 years; Janie Hartman, writer, designer and photographer, 24 years; Linda Flusche, 23 years, bookkeeping, typesetting; and Alvin Hartman, 58 years printing.

Scott Wood was publisher at the Crane News for four years and said he was excited to be back in the newspaper business. His wife Deborah helped him at the Crane newspaper and both will serve as owner/publisher of the Enterprise.
