The Texas Better Newspaper Contest Committee met Jan. 21 at the Texas Press 2010 Midwinter Conference & Trade Show in Galveston.

The committee set Friday, March 12, as the postmark deadline for mailing or shipping contest entries to the Texas Press Association office in Austin.

Member newspapers will submit entries from issues published in March 2009 or September 2009 as stated in the revised rules.
