From left: Frank Bridges, Jim Bardwell, Phil Major, Jonathan McElvy, Dwight McKenzie, Rick Craig, Marshall Day, Greg Shrader, Bob Brincefield and Ted Rickenbacher played in the Texas Newspaper Foundation Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Publishing Group of America, on June 17. The tournament raised $1,300 for the foundation, which provides training opportunities for Texas journalists.

Fourteen members participated in the tournament. Ted Rickenbacher won first place. John Hudson placed second, Greg Shrader placed third and Joe Thompson placed fourth.
